To celebrate 60 years of telling the story of photography and film, George Eastman House is offering a deluxe portfolio of color photographs for sale to collectors and institutions.
The portfolio is housed in a handcrafted Brewer-Cantelmo clamshell box with blind stamped title. A printed colophon precedes the photographs along with a separately bound booklet that includes an essay by Alison Nordström, Curator of Photographs and reproductions of the photographs.
The extremely talented printers at Keystone/NET/W Imagery in Buffalo, New York are producing the photographs; the twelve Giclée prints will be matted with 8-ply, 20 x 24 inch archival board.
The portfolio is in a numbered edition of 25. Each artist will receive an artist proof of the entire portfolio for his or her participation in the project. One artist proof portfolio will be accessioned by George Eastman House as a permanent part of the photography collection.
The 25 numbered sets will be sold; proceeds will go to support the museum’s continued excellence in exhibition and scholarship, and in the stewardship of its collections.
Paper, ink, box and mount information as specified by the Photographic Materials Group will be included in the portfolio.
The portfolio is in a numbered edition of 25 and priced at $25,000. New York State residents will be charged sales tax.
